Some religions advocate belief. And put all other religions into "alternative belief". Like pantheon of gods. Why believe in them when you can believe in "the one"......
Well
It's not about belief
The mechanics matter. For all the non belief religions. They're in the real. That's what they don't tell you.
The real is that Dike represents justice. And so you invoke her to represent justice in your mind. Naming her makes justice real. It's not about whether she exists in reality (or in the supernatural). It's about her image. And her image in the mind is real.
So in Greek pantheon, Dike isn't meant to be supernatural. No belief required. She (Justice) is real in your mind, as it should be.
If Justice is known, is real, then the tyrant's unnatural rules have no power... which is why the tyrant advocates for unnatural religions, and condemns religions based on the natural world where the rules and structures of things are obvious. The tyrant doesn't want the rules to be obvious, the tyrant wants you to follow whatever they say... this is why paganism and shamanic religions have been sidelined historically... but if you care about justice, you will revere the natural world...
